Abstract : The research aims at investigating the development of Indonesian Intra-Industry Trade (IIT) with China. This research uses trade flow study between Indonesia and China on manufacturing industry of SITC Revision 3 (3 digits). Data used in this research are the secondary data i.e. time series from 2000 to 2014, obtained from the UNComtrade, Word Bank, UNCTAD, CEPII and WTO. Data analysis methods used are Grubel-Lloyd Indeks (G-L Indeks) and Gravity Model Approach through linear regression. The result of the research indicates the tendency of the decrease of Indonesian IIT index with the trade partners, except Japan and Malaysia. The IIT regression result indicates that the average GDP, average GDP/capita and FDI have positive relationship with each of
SITC indexes, whereas inequality of GDP, inequality of GDP/capita, tariff, and distance have negative relationships.
Keywords : Gross Domestic Product (GDP), tariff, distance, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Intra-industry Trade (IIT).
